    That Grey’s Anatomy Shocker….

    April 25, 2015 / No Comments

You know what happened. Even if you don’t watch the show, you know. If you don’t know, LEAVE NOW. This is a spoiler laden response to Thursday’s Grey’s Anatomy. Twitter was overwhelmed with screaming, crying fans. Facebook had Grey’s Anatomy trending. And the fans of Grey’s Anatomy limped through Friday broken, mourning, confused and the biggest one: Angry. Derek is dead. Let me start things out by saying I’m actually not angry that Derek died. Really, I’m not. Life rarely gets happy endings so yes, it’s nice when it does happen, but the reality is that it often doesn’t. And in a show that has never shied away from death,…

    Grace Unplugged in Theaters Friday!

    October 3, 2013 / No Comments

Over the past week or so you’ve seen a lot about Grace Unplugged here on my site. It’s because I loved the book and I can’t wait for the movie. (It comes out tomorrow in theaters!) I would encourage you to visit the website and check out the trailer for this amazing story. This is about a young girl who gets pulled into the music industry and struggles with her values, her family, and what the industry is trying to do with her. As someone who works regularly in the entertainment industry, this isn’t far off of the mark. There’s always peer pressure out there. Get into the entertainment industry…

Crock-Pot “My Time Slow Cooker” Review

    April 9, 2013 / 4 Comments

I cannot overstress this enough. I am thrilled to be able to share my review of the Crock-Pot My Time Slow Cooker. When I got it, I was immediately surprised at how pretty it was. (Hey, I know – but seriously this is a pretty slow cooker!) I took it out of the box and loved the design instantly. Shiny stainless steel on the outside reflected the kitchen (yes I had to clean off some of the counters when I took pictures!) and it really does look beautiful sitting on my counter. The design also shows tremendous insight. This is the first Crock-Pot I’ve ever owned that has a switch…

Review: The Action Bible New Testament

    December 4, 2012 / No Comments

The Action Bible New Testament Reviewed by Lori Twichell Genre: Non-Fiction/Bible Publisher: David C. Cook Publication Date: March 1, 2012 Not too long ago I had the chance to review The Action Bible Devotional from David C. Cook. My kids were over the moon delighted when, shortly after submitting the review to them, we received copies of The Action Bible and The Action Bible New Testament. The New Testament version of The Action Bible is pretty self explanatory. It contains the same illustrations and text that come from the New Testement section of The Action Bible. Glorious pictures with accompanying Biblical references and text give the Bible a new dramatic style for kids that are just now starting to…
