A new movie that came out yesterday (May 15th!) on iTunes, Amazon and showing in various theaters across the country via Tugg, promises fun, childhood adventure and joy to audiences. Called a “modern-day tale of hope, faith and courage based on stories from the Bible” Beyond the Sun is the first movie to ever feature a guest appearance by the Pope himself! Paddington!
When I first started reading on my own (and FINALLY didn’t need someone to read TO me) Paddington became one of my best friends. I absolutely adored his adventures because he felt a little bit like me. I was an only child and both of my parents worked, so I was often left to my own devices. Confession: I’m a sucker for Christmas. And Christmas movies? Oh yeah – I can watch them year round. (I even wrote one! Of course I love them!) My favorite holiday paired with sweeet movies too?? Okay, let me start here by saying that I hate confrontation. For most of the election season, I kept quiet on all topics. I tend to shy away from debate. Maybe I’m a people pleaser. Some thoughts on the #Oscars…
As many of you know, I work in the entertainment industry. For about 12 years, I’ve been blessed to work with everything from television networks to small indie films and box office powerhouses. I don’t claim to know everything, understand everything or even come close to being at the level of the people honored last night by the Academy.
