    Anyone interested in recipes?

    March 1, 2017 / No Comments

A few years ago, I learned a tremendous amount about prepping meals ahead of time and freezing them. It really saved me a lot of time and money. When I get a job, we tend to eat out because it’s harder to keep up when I’m so busy. So having those recipes on tap is important for us. I also learned that I am unable to do the all day marathon prep sessions. One day I spent something like 14 hours prepping meals that ended up lasting me for almost 8 weeks.  However I also learned that after spending that long in the kitchen, I didn’t even WANT to go…

Slow Cooker Freezer Meals Part One

    September 17, 2015 / 1 Comment

So in the past few years, I’ve developed a very co-dependent relationship on my slow cooker.  I’ve come to love and adore it and I have no idea what I would do without it. A few years ago, Organized SAHM held an online cooking day where people prepped meals and froze them. I did almost a month’s worth of meals in about 10 hours. It was glorious. Those meals, because many of them had leftovers, worked for nearly eight weeks. I was completely in love with freezing and prepping meals! Now honestly, working for so long on the meals (that long long day I mentioned above) is really hard for…

Crock-Pot “My Time Slow Cooker” Review

    April 9, 2013 / 4 Comments

I cannot overstress this enough. I am thrilled to be able to share my review of the Crock-Pot My Time Slow Cooker. When I got it, I was immediately surprised at how pretty it was. (Hey, I know – but seriously this is a pretty slow cooker!) I took it out of the box and loved the design instantly. Shiny stainless steel on the outside reflected the kitchen (yes I had to clean off some of the counters when I took pictures!) and it really does look beautiful sitting on my counter. The design also shows tremendous insight. This is the first Crock-Pot I’ve ever owned that has a switch…
